About this Collection

The EPA's 2012 ENERGY STAR National Building Competition concluded in March 2013, with over 3,000 buildings competing to reduce energy use over a 1-year period.

EPA reports that, in total, participating projects reduced energy usage by more than 3 billion kBtus, saving more than $50 million in utility costs.
